Privacy Policy

SyncAboutIt is a personal-use notes application. This policy covers what it does with your data.

What data is stored

Your notes, checklists, and web clips are stored locally on your device and, if you connect Google Drive, in your own Google Drive account's hidden application-data folder (drive.appdata). This folder is private to the app and is not visible in your normal Drive file listing.

What SyncAboutIt does not do

SyncAboutIt does not send your notes to any third-party server, does not include advertising or third-party analytics, and does not sell or share your data. Your Google account credentials are never seen by SyncAboutIt; sign-in happens directly through Google's own OAuth flow.

AI agent access (optional)

If you choose to connect an AI assistant to your notes, that assistant can only read or write notes according to permissions you explicitly configure in Settings. No note content is sent anywhere unless you enable this feature.

Disclaimer of warranty and liability

SyncAboutIt is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The developer does not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer disclaims all liability for any loss, corruption, or unavailability of data — including notes stored locally or synced via Google Drive — and for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, this app. You are solely responsible for maintaining independent backups of any important data. Use of this app is at your own risk.
